About Dr. Anuj Suketu Shah

Dr. Anuj Suketu Shah is a Surgical Oncologist with over seven years of focused experience in managing complex cancers using advanced minimally invasive techniques. He specialises in Cytoreductive Surgery, HIPEC, PIPAC, and laparoscopic and robotic oncology procedures. With an operative experience of around 1,000 major cancer surgeries, he has extensive expertise in gastrointestinal and gynecological malignancies.

He completed his DrNB in Surgical Oncology from Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad, followed by specialised training at MSKCC New York in Head & Neck Oncology and an observership in HPB Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Dr. Anuj has also trained under Dr. Sanket Mehta, one of India’s leading experts in Cytoreductive Surgery & HIPEC, strengthening his proficiency in advanced peritoneal surface oncology.

Before joining SSO’s team-based oncology ecosystem, he worked independently as a consultant, further shaping his clinical judgement across multi-organ cancer care. His interests span retroperitoneal tumours, thoracic oncology, breast oncoplasty, urologic cancers and palliative care.
