About Dr. Vijay Tiwari

Dr. Vijay Tiwari is a Consultant Head & Neck Cancer and Reconstructive Surgeon with specialized
training in the surgical treatment of oral cavity cancers, thyroid cancers, laryngeal cancers, salivary
gland tumors, head and neck skin cancers, and other complex head and neck conditions.

His expertise includes complex resections, neck dissections, microvascular free flap reconstruction,
and advanced reconstructive procedures aimed at preserving and restoring speech, swallowing,
breathing, and facial appearance after cancer surgery.

Dr. Tiwari completed his fellowship in Oral Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery at HCG Abdur
Razzaque Ansari Cancer Institute, where he received comprehensive training in the management of
early & advanced stage of head and neck cancers through a multidisciplinary approach. He further
refined his expertise in microvascular free flap reconstruction at Mahavir Cancer Sansthan, Patna,
gaining experience in reconstruction of complex defects (bone & soft tissues) following head and neck cancer surgery.
