Dr. Tarang Patel MS, MAMS, MCh (Cancer) is 1st generation, senior, qualified & vastly experienced cancer surgeon of Gujarat and India. He offers diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of Breast cancer.

Beyond the conventional surgery of breast cancer: Modified Radical Mastectomy (MRM), Dr. Tarang Patel, offers various breast preservation/ reconstruction surgeries for Breast cancer like breast Oncoplasty, breast reconstruction with local flaps, LD flap, and implants.

De-escalation of axillary surgery like Sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB)is performed with the latest and most precise dual dye: ICG+ methylene blue method. These recently introduced popular surgeries like Breast Oncoplasty& Sentinel Node Biopsy are now accepted worldwide as they are proven safe after very long follow-ups.

Besides being “Standard of Care”, these surgeries provide excellent cosmetic and function outcomes. Arm edema and shoulder dysfunction are usually negligible after Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy. Dr. Patel has been a pioneer in introducing Chemo-port insertion since 1994.

Dr. Tarang Patel has conducted many educational & awareness programs on Cancer, Tobacco, and Breast Cancer. Breast Cancer education material was developed in consultation with Breast cancer survivors and NGOs working on women’s health issues.
