About Dr Jitesh Rajpurohit

Dr. Jitesh Rajpurohit is a Surgical Oncologist with over 10 years of experience, with a special focus on thoracic oncology. He is known for managing lung, mediastinal and chest wall tumours with a structured, protocol-driven approach and contributes significantly to the thoracic oncology services across SSO Cancer Hospitals. 

He is valued for his calm, methodical surgical planning, clear communication and emphasis on minimally invasive strategies wherever appropriate. His practice philosophy blends precision, multidisciplinary input and an attentive approach to preserving respiratory function and quality of life.

He completed his MBBS from Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s Medical College, MS in General Surgery from MUHS Nashik and MCh in Surgical Oncology from Kerala University of Health Sciences. His training encompasses thoracic tumour resections, lung cancer surgery and complex chest wall oncology
