About Dr. Sirish Patil
Dr. Sirish Patil is a skilled Head & Neck Oncosurgeon with advanced training in complex head and neck cancers, organ-preserving surgeries and microvascular reconstruction. He completed his MBBS from Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences and MS in Otorhinolaryngology & Head Neck Surgery from SDM Hospital, Dharwad.
He has worked as a Senior Resident in Head & Neck Oncosurgery at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore, followed by focused training under Dr. R. N. Patil in Belgaum. He went on to complete a comprehensive 2-year Fellowship in Head & Neck Oncosurgery at the Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Trivandrum, including specialised microvascular reconstruction training at Ganga Hospital,
Coimbatore.
His research on thyroid cancer survival was presented at the 32nd European Thyroid Association Meeting (2019), Budapest, and he has extensive operative experience from his five-year tenure at Government Medical College & Hospital, Belgaum.
Dr. Sirish Patil’s expertise includes skull base tumours, paranasal sinus cancers, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, salivary gland tumours, laryngeal cancers and LASER surgery, oral cavity cancers, scalp tumours and complex reconstructive work.
