About Dr. Veeresh Kumar Ireddy
Dr. Veeresh Kumar Ireddy is a highly trained Surgical Oncologist. He completed his MBBS from Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences, Raichur(2007-2012) followed by Post graduate Masters degree, MS in General Surgery at the prestigious Mysore Medical College & Research Institute, Mysuru(2015-2018), where he had extensive Surgical training including Laparoscopic surgery. He served as a Senior Resident in
General Surgery at SIMS&RC, Mangaluru and MMC&RI Mysuru.
Later he worked as Assistant Professor in Department of General Surgery at Navodaya Medical college, Raichur, where he served as Teaching faculty for both Undergraduate and
postgraduate students.He later went for further Superspeciality training DrNB in
Surgical Oncology at BLK-Max Superspeciality Hospital (Dr BL Kapur Memorial
Hospital), New Delhi. He has trained extensively under India’s leading Surgical
Oncologists in treating a wide spectrum of Cancer cases while playing an important
role in Early diagnosis, Evaluation of Cancer patients, Tumor board discussions and
making customised treatment plan for Patients with Cancer
During his Superspeciality training he was trained in Robotic Surgery on the Da Vinci Xi platform. During the Indian Cancer Congress 2023 held at Mumbai, He presented a Video on Surgical demonstration on Total Robotic Low Anterior Resection, which was appreciated by the audience.
His key areas of interest include treating Thoracic, Gynecological cancers, Gastrointestinal and HPB cancers, Breast and endocrine cancers, genitourinary, skin, bone and soft tissue malignancies, with a special focus on minimally invasive cancer surgeries, Cytoreductive surgery, HIPEC, VATS procedures.
