“It’s time for me to give back..” – Dr. Nilesh Chordiya

It was incumbent on Specialty Surgical Oncology to have someone with a vast experience in surgical oncology to help nurture the next step in our evolution and we are more than pleased to announce that Dr. Nilesh Choradia has decided to be take up this responsibility and challenge.

Dr. Nilesh Choradia has more than 12 years of experience in private practice and is omnipresent in the central suburbs and Thane area. After completing his surgical oncology training in Tata Memorial Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital in Seoul (Korea), he has pioneered some of the minimal invasive techniques in the treatment of colorectal and esophageal cancers in Mumbai city.

His vast experience also includes treatment of breast and head and neck cancers treated in the thousands, although his core competence remains in the field of minimal invasive GI cancer surgery, including oesophageal, pancreatic and colorectal cancers.

Having worked for a decade running from one centre to the other, Dr. Nilesh decided that it was finally time to ensure that the patients get the best possible care irrespective of their financial capacity. To ensure that this happens, he established his own centre in Thane – Infinity Medisurge Centre.

This centre serves to not only ensure that the most complex of cancer surgeries happen at a competitive budget, but it also gives Dr. Nilesh an opportunity to train and impart knowledge to the next generation of surgeons. And Specialty Surgical Oncology was the next natural step to ensure that he gets the infrastructure and support to fulfil this endeavour.
