In almost 95 to 98% of cases, cervical cancer results from Human Papillomavirus infection. It’s important to note that while Cancer itself is not transferred from one person to another, the cancer virus can.

In the case of HPV (Human Papillomavirus), it spreads due to multiple sexual partners. The primary risk factors  include:

  • Early sexual activities
  • Multiple sex partners
  • Family history of vulva, vaginal, or skin disorder

  2. Quadrivalent vaccine
